The World Wrestling Championship is a professional wrestling world heavyweight championship owned by EWE. It is one of the two top championships in the federation, complementing the International Championship and the defunct EWE Championship. The World Wrestling Championship has been a part of EWE XPlosion since it began, only being a part of the defunct brand Exodus for a short period.

It was held by, in chronological order, Triple H, Bobby Lashley, Randy Orton, Monty Brown, Ted DiBiase, Mr. Kennedy, Kurt Angle, Chris Jericho and finally Matt Hardy in the first run of EWE's.

In the second run of the promotion, the title belt was held by Matt Hardy still, followed by Bobby Lashley. In it's third run it was held by Edge, followed by Blackout, who kept the title for the fourth run before retiring from competition.

The title was won by Mike Bennett in 2013's World Wrestling Championship tournament, and then changed hands when Bennett lost a title match against Orlando Jordan at EWE Execution

The World Wrestling Championship curseEdit

This title belt is said to be cursed, having, since it's establishment, never been held longer than 31 days by any of it's respective champions.
